Youtube gets caught editing people's comments ,

I don't know if anyone's seen or heard about this yet, but (((Youtube))) has started actively editing and changing people's comments when posted, as this one firearms based channel shows in this video:

I wonder if this has has something to do with (((outage))) Youtube had a few days ago? It seems like now they can just edit people's comments to whatever they like as soon as they're posted.
