I have noticed a few members confusing Yin yoga with Restorative. Restorative yoga is the type that is good to do before bed, anti-anxiety, helps with relaxation, increases Yin energy, no discomfort.

Yin yoga works on the connective tissue (fascia), ligaments, joints. Long holds with mild to moderate discomfort.

Iyengar yoga falls under the category of Hatha.

Sun Salutations are Vinyasa.

I have a question, which other yogas methods also relates to such deeper stretches for spine like Hatha yoga?

Yin, long holds. The other types have hatha within them, but additional features. Vinyasa flows often go through multiple variations of stretches that lead to a deeper stretch.

Where is t-?..

It links breath with movement, so it classifies as Vinyasa, but I will add it so you can select it :) The 5 Tibetan Rites were actually my introduction to yoga, the first I ever did years ago.

I prefer Hatha yoga and Kundalini kriyas from pinklotus website. I am trying to perfect sex energy transformation, aijna stimulation and Nadi balance. Would love input on this.

Where is partner yoga option? 🤨

Restorative is my favourite 😊

My favorite used to be Kundalini Yoga, but now, due to the needs of my Soul and Dosha, it is Hatha Yoga.

Hatha is easily my preferred yoga. this is both due to physical (respiratory) issues, and also the grounding effects of it has (Which is something I can struggle with a lot at times).
