Black as night,
............... Darkest night

In the crows caw, divination told
Swirling,
................. swirling
................................... Answers unfold

Red ink drawn and parchment burned
Silver as Moon
............... Gold-kissed soon

My fragments held together
Tumble,
................. clatter
................................. At least we’re forever

These hands are a mage's tools
Fool’s card
.................... Magician’s card

Your voice in my thoughts, Father, Mother
Weakness as failure
........................ Strength as focus

In heart and mind, my soul breathes fire
