Why Blood is Used in the Dedication Ritual (and Race-related Rituals)

Greetings! A question many newcomers might face is the question regarding blood and its use in the dedication ritual.
Since this is a quite stigmatized topic because of all the claims of "blood sacrifice," some might feel a bit odd, conflicted, or confused about this.
For that reason, I will create this short article to clarify everything regarding this topic.

Firstly, blood is only used in 2 extremely specific cases in ToZ, the first of which being the dedication, and the second, rituals related to your ancestry and race (optional).

The difference between using blood for these and the pop culture "blood sacrifice," is that blood is NEVER used as a "sacrifice" or "offering" here, but simply to form a connection.

Your blood contains your DNA, which is the blueprint of your entire being. This blueprint, of course, is basically encoded memory, this includes your racial memory/karma, as such, it is used as a medium to form connections with this.

In the dedication ritual, this is used as a symbolic connection to your essence and the genetic part of the Gods that is already inside of you. (The Gods created us and gave us part of their DNA)
In rituals regarding race (e.g. the race awakening rituals), this is also used as a connection, in this case, being a connection with your race/bloodline/ancestry. For the race awakening rituals this is entirely optional and is done only once, just like the dedication. It is done by carving the runes into wood or writing them down on paper and consecrating them once with a small amount of blood. This piece of wood/paper would be used for all next race awakening rituals; there is no need to consecrate them with blood more than once.

It is NOT something that should be used outside of this; we don't condone any literal "sacrifice" of blood; the Gods don't need or desire your blood and they do not promote these things.

I have used small drops of blood to empower other rituals before. I probably should not have done it as I thought blood was just increasing the power of the ritual. I don't do that anymore I realized blood connects you to a ritual or energy dealing with the ritual so probably bad. So if you do decide to do it be very careful and think or just don't do it would be better. Semon or vaginal secretions are far better to make a ritual powerful especially if you focus your orgasm directly into a ritual. I think this is much safer. Thank you for your post.

A blood sacrifice is an entirely different thing than merely using your own blood in rituals.

It is that sort of jewish magick where they harm or kill another being to use its blood as energy for their own magickal purposes. As HP Maxine said, this sort of thing is jewish, parasitical and always backfires. Here's an example of a post asking about it:

Notice what he's asking is totally different from the dedication ritual or other rituals where we use our own blood. He wants to kill a sheep and use its energy for magick. That's what blood sacrifice is and what jews do.

What the ToZ/JoS front page said about not condoning blood or living sacrifices is often misinterpreted by new people.

HP Maxine did not intend it to mean that we don't use blood in rituals at all. Its intended meaning is "we do not harm another being for ritual or magickal purposes".

HP Maxine herself said that there is nothing wrong in using your own blood in any ritual. She only spoke against harming another being and using its blood. That's what she meant by "blood sacrifices".

Blood use in rituals, such as staining Runes, dedicating our souls and lives to Satan, and working to boost our energies- USING OUR OWN BLOOD, is very different than parasitical magick. The blood carries the life-force. Our own blood [it doesn't take much- large amounts are not needed], can boost the energy of a ritual.

Staining the Runes with our blood gives them much more power in a ritual, but this is something one need not do very often. It is most effective when done once in a few weeks, as too often it will lose power.
