Who is Azrael really?

I have read that Azrael is "god's helper" and I'm pretty sure the god the author was referring to was Jehovah/Yahweh.One of the lines in a poen I once posted states "Yahweh's angels fall prey to the lethal scathing of their betrayal,writhing in agony they wish they'd chosen Andras over Azrael".Then earlier in tonight I was in a satanic chatroom and there was someone called "Azrael666".I thought that was weird so I questioned about this."Azrael666" didn't answer me but someone else did saying "wasn't Azrael the one who fell into darkness"or something like that(I'm not sure what that would have to do with Satan)So I was wondering if anybody on herre could officially clear this up,just who's side is Azrael on?...............HailSatan......shadowwhispr

Let me just mention something about the real Azrael. He is the angel of death, serving jehova (-el). I read Leilah Wendell's necromantic rites (the grimoire she wrote), where Azrael is the key figure, so to say. Before I became a Spiritual Satanist, I wanted to become a necromancer, which wouldn't be very hard (xianity everywhere, graveyards near, and the rites themselves weren't demanding). Now I wish to sell the grimoire, because I am a life-affirming human, not a xian.

Never heard of any entity named Azrael before. It could possibley be a typo for Azazel who is a Crowned Prince of Hell.
