where do i start?

There is such a wealth of information on the jos website. My mind is still reeling. I was raised a devout xtian home and my entire family is very religious. They're also hypocritical and judgemental. This along with the hypocracy in the church caused me to become disgusted by almost every xtian I've met since. I left the church at 15 and e have been searchi, both actively and subconsciously ever since. I'm 25 now and when I read the jos website I literally burst into tears at several points. It validated dreams I've had, feelings I've had since I was little and how I just know we didn't just pop up out of nowhere. It's a relief to say the least.

My question is: do I have to dedicate myself before I can start meditating? I still feel that I have some xtian hang UPS and I don't want to dedicate my soul until I have let them go. But I would like to actively preside meditation and work toward freeing myself from any existing negative preconceptions.

And my second question is where is a good place to start for an absolute beginner? Do you guys have a starting point? I have read through most of the meditations on jos but I'm still a bit confused on where to start and where to go from there.

Welcome to the group, Sarah. No, you don't have to be dedicated to start power meditations. You should dedicate yourself if you plan to advance Spiritually to high levels though, you'll need Satan's protection and guidance.

As for where to start, there's a page about that on JoS:

It's recommended to do hatha and kundalini yoga every day if you have the time as well. They are important for raising your energies and empowering your soul. See the PDF files here:

P.S. You're not technically without!!At least you've got the right idea and you know where to start and you know what to do. Completely different than many new people who come here and the first thing they want to do is summon a God without even being dedicated, or their only reason for joining is because they want money or to get their girlfriend/boyfriend back.

id get started on meditating and do it now. doing that before and after is important for new people here.  heck i been dedicated sense last December 19th of last year (was lucky enough to get it done before void moon on 12:34am next day).
dedicate as soon as possible but beforehand it would never hurt to read over the jos website, the jos yahoo groups various group message topics that answer any questions you may have on anything here, and of course go to google.com and google "the way back machine" and then get to any of the jos main site that may be frozen on the regular version of the site (if needed).  if you do not understand the way back machine fully others here can also explain it to you as they know allot about that.once you are ready to dedicate feel free to ask any questions needed on supplies and getting/obtaining them if you need to.

Well for starters. Read all of JOS site and the way back machine version of JOS site to access any pages frozen on the regular version of the site. Do this over and over again until you can memorize it. Note you may have to do this reading before and after dedicating in fact I recommend it.

Then dedicate when ready just be sure it not on a void moon. Also if you got questions concerning the availability of certain supplies for dedication and/or other items for satanism then feel free to post a topic anytime and we will help you best we can. Black candles for some here are really hard to find by the way. I got lucky and got em from an arts and crafts store.

After you dedicate look into opening the 3rd eye.

And remember meditation is important before and after dedication. Although I did not go about it that way as the JOS inspired me not only with satanism alone but also inspired me to get into meditation.

Yes! welcome Indeed. It warsm my heart to see another person on the path to satanism You can start with meditating to get a feel for energy the reason why dedicating yourself is important is because you will be protected by Father satan and the Daemon gods and will be able to advance freely.
Like Brain has said many of us has come from a Christian backround and have been decieved. Happy you are realizing the truth. Just keep reading the JoyofSatan website because that will be the basis of your knowledge and as you move on Father satan will show you the way and you will gain power and knowledge Just trust yourself and you will see. I have been trying to do this for a couple of days constantly but i do not get the sensation you are supposed to feel does anyone have a good video i can watch to see how it is done properly, i also tried using the information on the joyofsatan website but i dont think i am doing it correctly.

Clean your aura and chakras, and build an aura of protection around you... Do these two daily. Then move on with opening your chakras (third eye, etc). If you don't feel any ache or anything at all, then be persistent. Patience is needed.

You should start with opening the Third Eye. Also, make sure that you are doing plenty of Void Mediation as you open the Chakras. As you advance this becomes even more important.
