This is basically the same idea as doing a working where you remove something and then bring in something positive afterward. For example, you clear obstacles, and at the same time you do a working to draw wealth and abundance.

In other words, Temple of Zeus and older traditions have known about this magical subtraction and addition for ages, so it’s not some special New Age discovery.

Let's say you banish with God Abrasax Ritual, the presence of Divine energies is stronger and the one of negativity is weaker.

So banish what is negative and opposite of Divine.

You should not connect with banishments because it is counterproductive to connect to something that is wanted for removal. So you do evocation first, then once that is done, invocation for replacement can be done. The whole process is twofold, not just onefold, as you laid out.
