Not what they tell you, but when, and all the other journalistic W's are important too. So much of what I have figures out was through understanding when they have told me something and not what they where staying. If events that happen in your life are related to when they happen based on the transiting planets then you will also find the gods are hinting at future events through when they allow you to know certain information.
What should be written down is the time, the sign the moon is in and any other relevant astrological aspects, for example if they are talking about someone being angry, then check the position of Mars at the time just to give an example. Some of this is really tricky as it could be years ahead and not exactly dependant on astrology, but still useful as a means of decoding and understanding the messages the gods give.
One of the easiest ways to strengthen dream recall is a method I've written about before, but will write again as so much communication with the gods happens through dream and visions, is to have a notepad with a pen on top of your alarm/phone so that when it goes off the first thing you touch is you pen and are immediately reminded by touching it to write down your dream and you will remember so much more this way. Seconds in waking life can be so much longer in the funhouse mirror of dreamtime.
An experiment I ran a while back which I was already aware of before starting it was that astrology can actually be learned through dreams. If you know your going though a certain transit that will be exact while you are asleep and set your alarm for the exact minute, or about a minute after since it can be hard to pinpoint exactly when if you don't know what second you were. You'll notice the dream reflects a general interpretation of the transiting planet in aspect to the natal planet. Sleep well and don't do this often. I just wanted to share this info in case anyone wanted to try it out and see for themselves.
Often I would interpret a dream only to find out it was entirely different from what I had believed it to be and this is also a repeat or a form of recursion like the Dagaz rune. Some time ago I was told this is the rune of recursion hence why it is used to help with seeing into the future. You see it once in your dream and then again in reality although different in it's true from instead of symbolically and then think to yourself "ah so that's what that means". Best not to take dreams to seriously and you can be creeped out by this too not any different from when Neo saw 2 cats in the matrix and they panicked. Remember it can always be interpreted in a positive way so try not to worry either.
