What Xianity does to a person is unbeliveable

A friend(known person) of mine got into this thing and went crazy. His girlfriend is pregnant and he refuse to see a doctor, something about people with ´´Golden ring´´. He wants her to have her baby in the woods like jesus christ, without any assistence, to cut the umbilical cord himself. He says god spoke to him and told him to do it, he is not going to his job and he takes his girlfriend away form her Family so they won´t force her to see a doctor; sleep in the car and get lost for days. His own Family is desperate, his father took the bible and putted on Fire because he was feed up of weird things being said by his son.
It´s weird because during my teens we used to skate together, he was normal. He may have used drugs and open his astral senses so this entities are talking to him, or maybe no one is talking to him. It´s just surreal. Is this drugs or just Reading and taking the biblical words seriously that make this to a person. Why does this entities choose some people to drive crazy.
