I am not really a fan because I think it is like an escape from normal, human life. I don't blame people for being fed up with the clownworld around them, but I would hope that once one begins to find hope in humanity again (through Satanism), they would feel better about identifying with their humanity.

Let me pose this question: When you go to empower your soul, how will you compute the fact that you are working with a human soul, not one of an animal? It may sound silly, but depending on how much you identify as a non-human entity, it could hinder your advancement.

Animals are sacred in Satanism, so they have their rightful place in our lives, however they are still distinct from us. It would be better for both species to coexist, instead of the kind of relationship that a furry may want with an animal.

We don't hate you but we know this is something that needs to be healed. Why do you feel this way? Why do you feel you need to be dressed and literally become something else just to have a relationship with someone? You need to study deep inside yourself why you think you need to do all of that just to be in a relationship and fix it. Here we have things like magick, self-hypnosis that can help heal this stuff. This is not normal and definitely has been created by issues some people have with themselves. Here we accept you but we don't accept your illness, Spiritual Satanism is for the ones that are willing to look deep in their soul and fix what is wrong, wanting to be something else is definitely an issue, you probably deep down don't accept yourself in some ways or some other issue that makes you want to be something else.

Cats are pretty cute and relatable sometimes. In some cultures the word "kitten" can even be used to hit on someone, although not everyone may be keen on that.
I heard Lady Bastet also appears as a cat or "cat-like" astrally, although I'm not sure that's related.

As for furryism in general, it seems like some kind of escapism. There's nothing wrong with some cat ears or one of those Playboy bunny outfits to spice things up, but I think that once you start to conceal your face and your race, deep down you start to lose sight of yourself. I understand that the animals you identify with are like allegories for your personality, but isn't the way to be truly free to realise that you can be true to yourself even as a human?
I think it's good to try to escape from a situation you don't like, but being human isn't something to escape from. It is truly a privilege to be one. Isn't it the expectations of others that you really want to escape from? When it comes down to it, you just want to be yourself, don't you?

I think furryism, at its core, is primarily a coping mechanism. By hiding behind a costume or character, furries detach their actions from their inner self, which makes them feel more free in how they express themselves. But that's not true freedom. True freedom is to take off the mask and stand proud in the face of others, knowing that it's your right to exist and do what you believe is right deep down. You don't have to be a triceratops for that.

That's just my thoughts on the topic though. What you do is really none of my business.

Don't feel that you are not welcome here. It's just that this fantasy is nonsense. It's like pretending you're going to go to "heaven" after you die if behave a certain way and do certain things - jesus never existed, and you don't need to feel "fulfulled" by being an actor or actress in a play, pretending to be what you're not. You could be an actual God or Goddess, depending on if you are Male or Female, which means you can use your own Mind to communicate telepathically, burn things, freeze things, hover above the ground/bring items to you without touching them (levitation); or use your Mind to heal, attract important people and things to you, gain wisdom, improve your life positively, become immortal... Dressing up as a Klingon or a My Little Pony pony is not going to improve your life in any lasting, meaningful, significant way.

I've heard that for some people it may start in childhood as they watch cartoons with animal characters and feel that they want to be like that. In other words, they don't feel completely comfortable being human; a sign of mental problems. But isn't it also rather fascinating? And as any mental problem, it can also be overcome. There is absolutely nothing fascinating about furries. It's a disgusting lowly thing. The OP has some serious problems in their soul. They probably got offended at the responses in this thread instead of looking at it objectively.

On the calendar, last quarter starts on the 8th of November (so moon is waning during this time). The 13th of November is on Venus and it marks moon entering scorpio. But the 14th is where the flavor text specifies for "banishing, detaching, freeing the soul" while fully being moon in scorpio. Should i proceed on the 13th? I like that it is a venusian day and the number its attached to. I just wasn't sure if that is a day i can do it on without messing it up (other than staying clear of the void moon).

The indication of Venus means that it is in a sign of rulership or is exalted. In this case it is in Libra. Also note that it's only Fridays that have it. This means a Venus square can be started on those Fridays because Venus is in a suitable sign.

But you can start your working any time when the moon is in Scorpio, preferrably before the new moon. 14th is better than 13th because the moon will be closed to the new moon. Not a must however.

Specifying on the childhood side of the matter it definitely seems like something you would see in scenarios of children in domestic abuse situations who come to see the cartoons as a form of escapism from themselves. Truly messed up stuff and likely entwined with sexual abuse as well.

Reminds me of the young 1920's starlets who were brought up in those similar situations and dreamily clamoured to escape them. Like Judy Garland and others. It's the same awful and Piscean pattern if anything.

The veneration of animals in such a discussion has to remain a separate consideration from this disorder. The impulse of care for animals is natural, but the sexual relation to those ideas are instead compulsion caused by trauma and issues with sociability + the opposite sex during the developments of puberty.
