Well, what do you mean? I suppose you are referring to your Guardian Demon, right?

It really depends on who you are as a person and your Guardian.
It's fundamental that your intentions are to be with the Gods and to follow them. If that's the case, your dedication did work and a Guardian is surely with you. Even if you don't see or hear them, they are there.

For the first sign, it might takes some time. Do the meditation so you can start to open your soul and be more sensibile to energy and their messages.
I remember that I first met my Guardian in a dream.

I suggest to strengthen your third eye and your astral senses, ALONGSIDE everything else. It really helped me in being more open to receive messages so it might help you too.
The more open you are, the easier it is to understand what Gods want to say to you. It takes practice in understanding which is a real message from a God or Goddess and which is just a regular thought you formed
