These things happen in a way where you just can't tell if they're a sign or not.
The only exception is if it's something so out of the ordinary that coincidence becomes the less likely alternative.
Seeing animals or numbers or stuff like that never confirms anything as it could just be there because it is.
With number syncrhonicities, what I've been thinking about is, think how many times you see numbers that aren't the "special numbers" throughout the day, you don't register it, but then when you see that specific combination it then becomes a synchronicity.
I've had a few weird experiences that are more concerete that just random numbers or animals.
On the same day I was thinking and reading about brain chips one time, and it wasn't in the news or anything at that time so it wasn't something everyone was talking about, when I came to work, the very first thing one of my co-workers said to me when I came in was talking about how the elite want to put brainchips in us.
Another time, I told a friend, and this was something I thought of on my own and not found online, that in the christian prayer they first put their hand on their foreheads where the third eye is. Then that friend a day later, as if I never told them this, said that their teacher said the exact same thing about the christian prayer putting their hand on their foreheads where the third eye is. Then my father said the same thing after I told him that a few days earlier, he then told it back to me as if I never told him that and he was telling me as if giving me new information. That had to be the most NPC thing I ever experienced.
Your experience with that animal, were you praying to, reading about or thinking about that God before? Because if not, then things can happen. Something happening out of the ordinary doesn't immediately point to divine signs. Someone who never got visited by preachers at their door and then got visited once doesn't really mean anything, it happened because it could have. Animals also could just walk into places because they can.
Even then with all these "signs", a lot of it could just be your mind manifesting these rather than a God, or just confirmation bias where your mind registers something as important and notices it more often than it used to.
Takes these signs with a healthy dose of skepticism. This doesn't mean nothing ever is a sign, but not everything is a sign either. The main problem is that they're never 100% concrete, there's always a chance these things happened because they could have. You're always left in the dark about the interpretation of these events as well, if there's anything to interpret in the first place. Strong feelings or "knowing" what this or that meant doesn't mean much. A xian can ask jesus about a sign and later in the day if they see a dove above their house they "know" it's a sign from the "holy spirit", when it was just a dove who happened to be flying there.
