When I was new to SS, over 3 years ago, if you googled "Satan" you would find all sorts of judeo-xian insulting crap for the first few pages. Well, I had the random urge to search just now, and JoS is #3! CoS is #2 and even though it's LaVeyan Satanism, it's still better than the "evil fallen angel" crap.

Also, take a look at wikipedia on Satan. It starts off about abrahamic religion leading humanity to sin bullshit, but it does make a mention in the into about Theistic Satanism and Satan being a positive deity, and then LaVeyan Satanism with Satan holding virtuous characteristics. No mention of Spiritual Satanism and/or JoS, and I know there have been a few of us who have tried to update the wikipedia page but were rejected and I think even banned.
