Void Meditation Technique?

Hi I am still fairly new and recently dedicated.
I was doing some void meditation per the 40 Day Hooded Cobra Program. Sometimes I do find it difficult to clear my mind, so for some reason (would be awesome if it was a demon suggesting) I put my 2 index fingers in front of me and focused and then moved them apart to my sides and kept trying to focus on them. Doing this I noticed my perception broadened and I wasn't thinking about anything just observing my room. This is what I imagine the void to be like. 
I wanted to share this and see if this could be confirmed by the more experienced members. I hope maybe this could help others as well if it is verified.
Also, any word if High Priestess Maxine Dietrich will be coming out with other sermons?

VM seems easiest after a vocalized meditation like the raum meditation. but if you're new I wouldn't recommend doing that one yet.perhaps a rune like algiz or uruz or a sun mantra like "suryae" (pronounced S-U-U-U-U-R-Y-A-A-A-A-Y-A-A-A-A-Y)before VM.Sun mantras also make aura cleaning easier and the algiz rune is best for the protection meditation as it dispels negative energies.

@Edwin, yes, that is actually the only one you should do without being Dedicated. It can be dangerous to do any others. I know from personal experience. You invite bad psychic attacks to yourself when you bio energy starts increasing and because you are no Dedicated then you will invite negative to deadly attention to yourself without Satan's protection.

Also, don't undermine what void meditation is capable of it can work wonders. They're called fundamentals for a reason.
