Visulisation

Hey , thank you for reading I really appreciate your time and assistance! Currently I am on the early stages of the spiritual warfare training, visualizing Satans sigils. Its frustrating, is a visualization for magic supposed to be forming the picture out the blackness of your mind? Like, if you've ever smoked marijuana and you close your eyes, its like a kaleidoscope, do you for it out of that? That's what I'm guessing because gazing at the sigils is imprinting the Image in your mind or can you visualize like a memory, the blackness is still there but its like a movie or a TV screen but in you "mind" if you can see what I'm saying.

Its frustrating me, i would really appreciate any one who would clear this up for me, thanks

The way I think of visualisation is how the images form in my mind from reading a fictional book. So like, "the sea was a deep blue", my mind sees a very dark blue body of water with gentle waves. Visualising signals is pretty much the same for me, but instead of remembering words I'm remembering pictures. I hope that helps.
