Good evening family. I'm curious about doing a Venus square but when reading about it I'm a bit confused about when to start it and when not to start it? I'm currently using AstroChronos for planetary hours. As of my understanding, this past Friday was a bad time to start it? I was thinking about starting it the 25th of September witch is the first Friday of Libra. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm new to this and like I said I am a bit confused : 3

1 min to readDo not start it this friday, Venus has enter into Scorpio (its detriment) last thursday. You cannot take in which sign the Sun is to determine when to start a square other than the Sun. You must always check for the planet you want to do the square.
Best time is when Venus is in Taurus, Libra and Pisces. Avoid Scorpio, Virgo and Aries. Its ok to start it when it is in another sign than the last 3 I mention.
On october 25th, Venus will go retrograde in Libra, I do not know if its a good time (most time it isn't a good time).
Venus retrograde isn't good for venus square. The effect is that the energy of the planet is held back when it's retrograde.
Venus go direct November 14th [Libra] on a Saturday. It enters Scorpio again December 5th. Until then, it is possible to start a Venus square on a Friday, Venus hours (need to check if the moon is void of course or not). Besides VoC moon, I've counted 3 weeks that Venus will be in Libra again. Depending for what the square will be used for (love, money, beauty, chakra working, material or spiritual square), check the sign of the moon too. If you don't have access to Hall of Osiris, you can check astrology ephemeris on websites to plan ahead for the year, seeing when a planet enters a sign and if it is direct or retrograde.
