Using no Shampoo

AvatarBabyZeus1 min to read

Hello,
I am using no Shampoo for a year now and the hair is healthy but it clumps together and I have holes on my head. The question I am asking is is hair soap or shampoo important for hair health. What is your advice, I want to have nice hair but are afraid of the toxic stuff in the shampoo. So if you can give me advice, and information I would start with hair soap to have pretty hairs again. Healthy are they without shampoo too but doesn’t look good. Thanks In Advance 🙂

This is the targeted message.

Hello :)

There is healthy shampoo. Look into Calia, and there are more brands if you do some research online.

Cleaning the scalp is very important for the health of it, and the health of your hair in the long term. Build-up of sebum is not good and can lead to more balding and hair loss.

Apple cider vinegar is good for the hair and scalp. Put a tablespoon in a cup of water and rinse it through your hair and massage it into your scalp. Leave it for at least a minute, preferably 5 minutes then rinse it out. This is best done after shampooing.

Do you think there are ingredients in shampoos that dull the pineal gland? I want to change my toothpaste too 🫢

I haven't used shampoo for years, people make compliments on my hair all the time, and they're like:
"What do you use?"
"Nothing, just water"
And they're shocked

There is always something natyral that you can use for your hair, just check the internet.

Commercial shampoos are bad for you. There are natural and healthy methods that you can use for your hair. You can just clean hair with only water (there are few things that come with this expect rinsing with water) or natural ingredients such as eggs' yolks (they can cause protein overload overtime, so one should know how to deal with it) or healthier shampoos (not the ones you see in ads).

This topic is broad, because there are many different approaches and potential problems that you can met, so if you want to dive into that, there is a page on the reddit called r/NoPoo.

I use a soap bar only and it works for me. I do not wash my hair with it every day, though. It would be too drying for the scalp. However, I am sure that there are good options along this if I just looked for them.

I've used a method of eggs and olive oil (there might have been another ingredient, can't remember it now), and surprisingly it worked very well. I only did it a few times though, I should do it more often. You can find the instructions online. There are many methods and videos of them on youtube etc. I've heard rye flour to be really great, as it's filled with nutrients that nourish the hair and scalp.

Also don't use hot water when using eggs on your hair :p

I think I have to try this.

If you use hot water, aren't you technically making an omelette in your head?

If you’re going to go without shampoo, it’s best to style your hair in a way that’ll keep it fresh enough like dreads or braids.

Using no shampoo for hair health, if this was really the reason, isn’t a good way to keep it healthy. If you have to get rid of clumps and sores from bacterial growth now, that’s unhealthy.

First shampoo dates all the way back to Indus Valley, first tooth brushes invented in Ancient Egypt.

Please don’t do these things. I definitely understand that this can be a reaction or rebellion to either over-modernization or the cancerous qualities of our current products. But this can also be dangerous.

The plague or TB, one of those diseases in the Victorian era was also glamorized for its ability to give a pale look.

Healthy is always hotter.

Yeah, it will scramble and then you'll have scrambled eggs in your hair and shower, lol. But when mixed with with the olive oil it actually doesn't scramble as much as an ordinary egg mask. I rinsed with lukewarm water and it came out fine.

My hair is thick and long and difficult to clean without shampoo. If I used eggs to clean my hair, I'd probably need a dozen.

I missed the braids part, my bad. Still think that of the dreads though.

In sahmpoos I don't know exactly if they contain elements directly harmful to the pineal gland but I know that they have toxic elements.
The most harmful ingredients to avoid in hair cosmetics are Formaldehyde and Polyacrylamide, whose toxic and carcinogenic effect is recognized.
I personally use exclusively natural toothpastes without fluoride as recommended on JOS, they are very good and the pineal gland thanks They can be found in herbalist's shops

I've never heard of formaldehyde in shampoo.
There are plenty of good shampoos and conditioners out there. You just have to shop around. You can feel the difference when you find good ones. It may take paying a little extra, as with anything healthy, but it's worth it.

My two cents, look for herbal shampoos mad with organic components, they are more expensive but mostly healthy. You need lower quantities to wash your hair so they last longer, pollute less, and do not damage your health.
You can also find soap-like solid shampoos, they are similar to hand soap wrapped in paper (so you will not waste plastic bottles, too) and mostly healtier.

Do you think there are ingredients in shampoos that dull the pineal gland? I want to change my toothpaste too 🫢

Beware of fluoride in toothpaste, just use no-fluoride toothpaste (herbal are usually free of fluoride) as this damages the pineal gland, you probably aready know this.
I am not sure about pineal gland damaging ingedients in shampoos, never heard of.

I know some of them contains "microplastics" particles that are very small plastic bit that can penetrate the skin and reach the blood flow. I do not know if they damage the pineal glans but sound no healthy at all.
Also, when washed, those microplastics heavily pollute waters and oceans, fishes eat them and store them into their body, those microplastics have been found in glaciers too where no pollution exists but... this one. I understand that those particles may sublimate from oceans to clouds and then rain everywhere.
