Twin Love?

Something has been bothering me for awhile, something of which I have no clear answer of...
Maybe some of you can clarify this for me.

Is there such thing as a twin flame? I can understand the number two, things often coming in pairs... But do we have twin flames?

Honestly. This has bothered me for a long time.
Does everyone have twin flames? I ask this because I cannot sense my twin flame. Sometimes I try to feel hopeful by believing that he's out there, but I don't sense him. Perhaps he is cut off from me?
A psychic (years ago) told me that there's enmity between us (like I possess an undying hatred toward him and that he's afraid of me), but she used RHP methods, so I won't trust her words.
I learned I cannot trust online oracles (I try everything so it seems, or I tend to).

Also, what does having a twin flame actually mean? Some say that they are the other halves to our souls, but does that necessarily mean that we're supposed to be lovers with them?
I don't believe everything that I hear and from my observations, I am not sure if that is the case.

Eh.. I really know nothing of "twin flames" (I hadn't even heard of that term before) but maybe, you mean that you were strongly connected with someone from a past life and now you feel that that person is "missing" or something...? Maybe they haven't reincarnated yet...? Hm, I don't know...Unless you mean of "soulmates", sort of like another person existing in this world that will be your "alter ego" so to speak. I believe there are this kind of people... Maybe.  I haven't met anyone but I have my whole life ahead of me.Personally, I believe there are people that are "meant" to be with us... But this is just my belief, it's not based in any facts.

Yes, yes, this is what I am saying.
This what you are saying makes more sense to me than what new agers often speak of. I hear from them that they met their "twin flame" via psychic connection, but how do they know it's not just their imagination or some spirit that has attached itself to them? Enemy spirits will deceive and they LOVE attacking weak points, including (especially) fragile hearts and weak minds.
Usually those who speak to me of their twin flames sound whiny.
As for me, I've made mistakes in my past and I know what I sensed was a huge misunderstanding. What I mean is, not everything is what it seems to be and jumping to conclusions is not the wise thing to do.
So, do twin flames exist? Not sure about that. Not at all.
