The Gods Trusting the Gods

Greetings to all the dear priests and respected members,

I am a relatively new Zevist. I have read almost all the articles and have started the Basic Meditation Program.

Before I began following these programs consistently, I used to pray every night and every day and study the articles, so I am not exactly a complete newcomer. In fact, I have been around longer than that, since I first began this path about two years ago using the previous version of the website.

To tell the truth, I love the Gods and truly love them with all my heart. I even composed a song for them today and kept it for myself. However, I need some motivation... more motivation.

1)A few days ago, I recited the Prayer of Protection to Zeus and went to school. My friend had snitched on me to the school principal! I had done something that violated school discipline, but that exact same friend had done the same thing as well. I came home and performed the Prayer of Protection, but even after several days, he still has not been punished for doing the same thing I did, even though he reported me for it!

2)And Today, I found myself in some very stressful and difficult situations, and I felt lonely and unable to perceive Zeus's support.

  1. Was it reasonable for me to expect Zeus to bring the same misfortune upon him or to give me peace of mind during a stressful situation? Or was that expecting more than what should have happened?

  2. As I told you, my dear friends, I am relatively new. How long does it take to receive this kind of help? If enough time passes, will these expectations actually be fulfilled?

  3. How can I tangibly feel that the Gods I love are truly supporting me?

Greetings, and thank you for asking these questions.

  1. The first responsibility is always on you: how you act, how you feel, whether you do something illegal and receive a punishment for it as a consequence etc. Never think of the Gods as babysitters. They are not there to shield you from the results of your very own actions.

  2. This kind of help is something only you can offer to yourself. Start cleaning your Aura, doing Aura of Protection daily, and learning the Zevist ethics to establish proper behavior. If all your actions and words align with Truth, then the probability of negative consequences is greatly reduced, and a powerful Aura of Protection (built in months, even years) will protect you from random malefic events and people.

  3. By starting to walk the path truly.

May you be blessed in overcoming the stressful situations.

They help those who help themselves. If you have a problem, you start solving it yourself, asking for their help. Then you might get some sudden intuition about ideas or ways to solve it, or someone might offer their help... the possibilities are truly limitless.

Hello! It is wonderful that you are taking steps to meditate consistently and pray.

I understand that your prayer did not bring the result you initially had hoped for. In the beginning, prayer can help us build a relationship with the Gods which guides us towards better paths, all with the goal of our evolution and growth as beings. The consequences of what we choose to do still remain, which is why the Gods throughout time have encouraged us to follow Ma'at through learning about what constitutes as ethical behaviour. Learning about what is right and then following through in our actions is an important part of Zevism.

I am sorry this person betrayed your trust, unfortunately trusting others carries such a risk. We all make mistakes and it can feel unfair that it caught up with you and not with him. To learn from our mistakes is the best outcome.

Greetings, I'd like to offer a bit of practical advice/guidance about your situation...
I understand you may feel very hurt by your friend getting you into trouble - it even sounds like he could've thrown you under the bus to cover up for himself.
I want you to know that it's easier to let go and focus on bettering yourself. Lessons learnt. Being angry over it is a lot like drinking poison while hoping the other person succumbs. Life doesn't work this way. There are very difficult situations that are extremely serious and I truly hope yours isn't one of those. Let it go. Not only can you not think clearly when your mind is clouded by anger and resentment, but I don't think it's energetically/karmically beneficial to dwell on the hurts and betrayals.

This isn't the end of the world and it doesn't have to be the be-all-end-all for you. It's all about how you choose to deal with this going forward.

  1. Zeus is God of Justice, and other Gods can help in matters of Justice. The Gods will not punish necessarily a snitch at school; but if you request from your Guardian, the situation can be paid at equal measure. You might consider punishment should be 90 out of 100 because you felt like it; Gods might set them straight with 30 out of 100. If you use Black Magick, you are not requesting by the Gods, but you are using black magick; in cases like this punishment can be inordinate, but it's something one creates.
    2. Yes. Typically, a few months after you develop spiritually, this will start happening. Feeling presence of the Gods will become more constant.
    3. That's up to your meditation path. The biggest proof the Gods are with you is progression in meditation and you progressing as a person despite difficulties.

Could you please tell me about other tangible signs of the Gods’ support that one might experience after spiritual growth?

Hi, Brother!

The Gods guide you and show you signs that you can see and that you will understand, but actions in the physical world are performed by yourself, not by the Gods, and responsibility for actions in the physical world lies with you.

Since you study at a school or other educational institution, you are most likely a teenager.

If you are a teenager, you enjoy more protection, but in the physical world you need to try to make informed, not impulsive decisions and try not to get into bad situations (which are typical of teenagers), so I recommend being more attentive and making more balanced and reasonable decisions in your life.

If you have problems that you cannot solve on your own (teenagers also have such problems), do not hesitate to contact adults and your loved ones in particular to solve them.
