It is necessary to study astrology, you can start with that: Azazel's Astrology for SatanistsWhat is an astrological transit and how do I identify a bad one?
[...]Astrological transit refers to the movement of planets in the sky in relation to their position at the time of a person's birth.[...]
Astrology needs “immersion” and verification, through many comparisons, to understand how the planets work.
I'm struggling to find enough information on the forums/site.
What does sextile/square/trine etc mean? Is there any educative material on that anywhere in JoS?
What is a planet to planet transit vs planet to house?
How am I supposed to know a transit is coming? Do I look at the JoS calendar to know when a planet switches houses and then look up the transits on each of those days?
A beginner needs first to learn what the symbols are, what the zodiac consists of, and the basic descriptions of the houses and the planets, including rulerships. From there, you can deepen your understanding of what different signs symbolize and so forth. You are now doing this in an opposite manner, going into something you do not understand with no foundation to begin with. It's the same with calculus; first, you learn subtraction, division, and other basic stuff. From there, it builds up gradually. This is still a topic I don't understand very well. It feels a bit overwhelming when I look up my current transits and there's 10 pages of planetary transits, with many of them only lasting days. Are these short transits even worth keeping track of? Should I be sifting through these pages to find the ones that last months and start figuring out what they mean?
Do planetary transits matter any more or less than house transits?
I've felt very emo today for no reason and all and it made me think to check my transits, but still not sure how to decipher it all.
The house aspects does show a moon transit that ends today, but I don't know when it started. It says "1" under days, so then does that it mean it started and ends today? I assume the sign of my natal moon is important to know what that transit would mean?

You might have studied, but it seems that you have not understood the context, given the responses you have on this topic. If I am wrong, disregard this.I'm not sure where you got the idea that I haven't studied any of that at all. Did I say that anywhere?
