Thurisaz for healing

I am curious about healing various body parts using the rune Thurisaz. So I was wondering if anyone can give advice on the following:

Visualize the Thurisaz rune glowing in bright gold light in the affected area. Vibrate three times then state the affirmation... Maybe "My (state body part) is perfectly healthy and strong in everyway, permanantly" (repeat for rounds, maybe 3?)

Let me know if anyone has any advice on this matter.

I have been openly Norse Heathen for 20+ years. I have never heard of Thurisaz being used for healing. The nearest thing I know of is Asator using His hammer to raise his goats from the dead. The energy of Thurisaz seems to me to be too overwhelming and violent, a thunderbolt, lightening initiated fire. Maybe I'm wrong. I would say Uruz is much more appropriate for healing as it invokes the deep Animal Powers and natural forces. Hope this helps!

Wunjo is the rune of healing and Thurisaz assists other runes it is used with to manifest in reality. Visualise as you said. Using this rune with a pointed crystal focuses energies and projects them. Use pointed clear or rose quartz. I would suggest slightly higher reps - 10+

Also, if you have problems with your feet; swelling, cramps, sore heals etc. then I recommend this rail foot massager which I bought really cheap in an opshop. I've checked and it's available on eBay.

Yes, but go back and read it. It's for someone with the spiritual will and advancement to understand it's power and how to use it.
Utuz is better to empower the working.

And I can say I've used it for healing a certain thing and it worked pretty well.

That is what I thought as well, I also saw it in a dream. Then later it was carved into wood near my home so that sounds like a sync up to me.

I also think Surya to clean the area and then Raum for healing can also work well. As well as the Sun Square if it is more serious. Just my thoughts, I respect everyones opinions and help.

The unfortunate truth is that we don't really know just what our ancestors thought about the Runes. So much has been lost and corrupted by our wonderful christinsane conquerors. Our earliest ancestors may have actually heard the Runes as "whispers" as their minds were not as fragmented as ours. I still feel that for healing Uruz, Berkana, about any of the Earth Energy-type runes, would be more beneficial. But if you feel drawn to the Thunderbolt of Almighty Thor, perhaps you should go with that. Hail Our Gods!

Not referring to anyone, just making a personal comment:

As I stated Wunjo is the healing rune. It specifically states that in the runes page. If you want to energize and empower the working then use Uruz in conjunction with it. And yes, Thurisaz can be used for healing, as it also states in the rune page, but is best used for advanced workings. This is because of its power and wild energy that needs the knowledge and practices of an edept to properly utilise it.

Thurisaz can be used to improve physical fitness, assertiveness, and vitality, but it works much better when is combined with Uruz for this purpose.

I have executed on a protocol after meditating on all the advice. In the context of a morning practice I have added cleaning the area with Surya and the V'un y'o (Wunjo) rune.

V'un y'o (Wunjo) x8
Then affirm: "My ______ area is strong, healthy and fine in everyway."

I do this after morning meditations and kept in short on purpose so it can be repeated more frequently through out the day.
