Just mentioning this, so that we have this on the forums saved.
Thomas Midgley, invented leaded gas in 1955, and CDCs for fridges, that poisoned a whole generation, and killed a lot of people.
He paid Scientist to lie that Lead is good, just so that he continues to make profit. The disaster was immediate, but he continued to sell his gas for too long.
The wiki does not mention that he is a Jew, but after all, he can only be one, and this will turn out.
