Looking at the Antikythera machine they pulled out of the sea. I believe it's quite a reality the ancients also measured the day in astrological hours.

Yes this bugs me too... i have a friend that always looks at the clock and keeps track... it's about 4 minutes past midnight and i start telling a story... "so today i did this..." ... and he stops me and corrects me "you mean yesterday!"... arg... it's annoying!

I've also read about the daylight savings time... that's of course meant to reduce costs for lights but since humanity is bound by time... ie. everyone gets up at 6 or 7 am... if you suddenly change the time for one hour... not only it upsets your inner clock... i think it upsets the whole environment... animals get affected and even climate
I always hated the boundaries of time... and the fact that mankind being a slave of time... even though it's the most useful thing for science... it creates an anxiety to the daily life... how many times did it ruin your day when you're late... or when you're trying to be on time... that's why, i think, vacations are the most fun... because you don't get to be bound by time daily

Yes this bugs me too... i have a friend that always looks at the clock and keeps track... it's about 4 minutes past midnight and i start telling a story... "so today i did this..." ... and he stops me and corrects me "you mean yesterday!"... arg... it's annoying!

this article states that it's the same for animals... their day starts at sunrise... which in my mind is obvious confirmation about the natural boundaries of day
I've also read about the daylight savings time... that's of course meant to reduce costs for lights but since humanity is bound by time... ie. everyone gets up at 6 or 7 am... if you suddenly change the time for one hour... not only it upsets your inner clock... i think it upsets the whole environment... animals get affected and even climate
I always hated the boundaries of time... and the fact that mankind being a slave of time... even though it's the most useful thing for science... it creates an anxiety to the daily life... how many times did it ruin your day when you're late... or when you're trying to be on time... that's why, i think, vacations are the most fun... because you don't get to be bound by time daily
