It has now only just come to light that an Australian special forces soldier in 2007 flew a Nazis Swastika flag on his armoured vehicle whilst out on patrol in Afghanistan. Australian Minister for Defence, Mutice Payne, said it was a "twisted joke" and in no way reflected the attitude of other military personnel and the soldier has since been counselled.
