Sun square to protect against saturn in saggitarrius???

How should I form the affirmation for my magical working to protect my family and myself financially when Saturn is in Sagittarius?

Here's what I came up with:
"I am absorbing the sun's energies that is bringing wealth and prosperity towards my family and me" or just to me.

If there are any better affirmations that would be great.

Also, I wanted to know if the shortcuts are really as powerful as the longer mantras? For sake of time I would probably prefer the shortcut mantra, especially for a sun square, but if the longer mantra is more potent then I would prefer using it.

Finally, should I still attack the enemy while doing the sun square? I feel like it might impact my working.

I would just go with: "In a positive and healthy manner for me this energy is protecting me/my family". And that should cover all negativity. It should also bring in positive, as the positive protects, e.g. bring in money.

Doing black magick rituals while doing a square or any spell will not impact it..

Any affirmation is good as long as you know what you want the squares energy to do.

What i have realized with the help of an important satanits in my life path is When working with magick and energy the most important thing is not the affirmation but how you direct the energy. Affirmations are just reinforcement.

For example when doing the sun square for financial protection make sure your program the enrgy by seeing and visualizing your goal You can see you and your family getting through the hard times unscathed and always having what you need to make it through. Use all your senses.

Another example if i do Jupiter squsre for money I will make affirmations but program and direct energy by seeing.myself handling money, feeling finacially stable and satisfied even imagine.myself walking to the bank and buying things.

I hope this makes sense.
