Soul contracts

In the last post that I did, what I really met to ask was what are soul contracts? Is it true that a soul outlines or creates the life experience before incarnation? The question may seem unnecessary but I was searching the internet on souls and then I came across soul contracts.

I've heard of this before, and I must say that I believe there is a type of "lesson" to learn, or rather, work to be done, hence we have meditation and soul work.

We also have certain experiences in life that we need to learn from, to advance ourselves on higher levels.
