Shooting Stars

I havent posted in a long time but ive often thought about it. I just sort of drifted off in my own business, ran out of interesting things to share. My laptop had some major troubles too so i couldnt check as often as i'd like.
For those reasons, and i fell back into videogame addiction for awhile.
But tonight settled it for me. I saw my first shooting star about a year ago (maybe some when i was younger, but the only memorable one...)
Tonight walking my girlfriend home i saw the largest brightest most brilliant shooting star... The kind youd expect to see in a movie or show.. It looked more like some kind of.. I dont know. Blazing Crystalline Sphere. The sight, the feeling was indescribable. And my lady didnt even notice it! It lit up the sky and its like it was all for me. I made my wish and fell into deep thought on the walk. Blocked out the world for a moment.. it was lovely, to say the least.

Do shooting stars have any known meanings? Other then "make a wish"
I understand scientifically they are just bits of rubble burning up in our atmosphere but this was something so much more.

Any thoughts or storys are greatly appreciated.

I believe often-times they do and can.  The last time I saw one was at such a certain specific time and place -  that I saw it exactly at the just the right moment and where it was in position - as if it was very specifically and purposefully timed and placed, in order for me to recognize and see - seeming to me like Father was notifying me back that he had saw and heard me in my prayer request to him prior to that.
