when i am at coffee places and other wifi hotspots my web surfing speed is good
when i am at home it is rare a connection is available and when it is it is usually shitty and slow.
so when i click send when i send a message in the jos yahoo group i often click it a few or more times to get it to send.
sometimes it works and sometimes it works but sends it a few or more times giving people several copies of the same message
this is not only occurring with me in the yahoo groups (this being the only one i pay attention to here at the JOS here) but in yahoo answers as well.
so i apologize in advance as if it appears i am flooding by sending several copies of the same message it is only means i am trying to use the shitty home connection.
although keep in mind this is only a temp home until my caseworker and other people help me find a new living type arrangement.
from what one guy says he may be able to get a place better than what i had before. if this is so i am gonna do so much awesome satanic stuff there. and even if it not what i expect i would still have more freedom there than i had where i was before.
i am broke right now but on workdays mondays, wednesdays, and thursdays i visit a nearby mcdonalds and use their wifi and theirs like the coffee place is good and so far they have not hassled me about the fact that i did not actually buy anything on my last wifi visit. but then keep in mind i went inside then. i mention this as there is a sheltered bus stop area near there where enough of a connection from there is reachable and as long as my laptops battery power options is set to power saver i think its called i am fine with time. i only mention this on days of mcdonalds as on these days sometime during the evening after 5:30pm after work west coast washington state time messages i send are easier to send and i do not then have to fear on sending so many of them.
in any case to wrap this up before the connection goes poof on me again i will say that even though its slow speed at home i am adapting to it okay and so far life is good.
