I just finished reading the "Dedicate your soul to Satan" on JoS website and realized I"m screwed forever.

I have an unbelievable fear of fire and lighting candles is one of them...so now I can't dedicate at all and this really fucking sucks!

This is devastating for me!

Now what!?

there are a lot of different types of people who can do different types of stuff it makes me happy .

i think if he doesnt have any reason to be afraid of fire then it is probably because his past life had something to do with it.

I am not very old (in this life) ~ 19 of age atm.
But I have had several fears growing up to this age.
Irrational and realistic ones.

Out of my experiences. they never do any good for you(as fear is a tool of the enemey)

The most wonderous feeling is conquering your own fears, especially the terrific ones.

Throughout advancing yourself spiritually, you will only be held back by these fears, in a negative sense, they will try to control you(more so, they Will control you). and manipulate you from your desires as a Spiritual Satanist and as a Human being in your Daily life.

best thing is to start small.

Buy lighter, (a ligher is something good to start out with because you have complete control over if it is lit or if it is not lit.)
--not a crappy lighter, a bic. or a zippo.

Move you hand over the lighter when it is lit, move your hand quickly, get an understanding that Fire cannot hurt you if you do not let it.

Get a feeling that Fire 'seemingly' has a will of its own, but in truth that 'will' is nothing that cannot be explained, and is nothing that cannot be Tamed.

After you get the feeling for that.

move to something bigger, such as a candle.

Something you cannot put out as easily as letting go of a button.

Once again practice moving your hand over it quickly, get a feel that if you are in control, the Fire will not hurt you.

Note that fire may be tamed, and it may be controlled, but always respect it, for it can burn if you go about ignorantly disrespecting the fires Potential.

it has potential to become large and fearsome.

[Before I go on to the next part of conquering your fear, make sure you are comfortable around fire, enough so to were you are not completely shocked by your fear. If you have to move onto something a little less large than a bon fire, such as a campfire do so, then go onto conquering a bonfire]



this is were step three of conquering your fear should come in.

Build yourself a bon fire.

Large enough to create a 3ft - 5ft fire.
-whatever you are confortable with.

but small enough in diameter, to jump over it.

There are several ways you can do this, you can go about dousing yourself in water, and jump on through.

I can assure you even if you do not douse your self in water as long as you jump quickly through, you will not be burned.
-although you any loose clothing might get burned.

--This is why during the April 30th, during Beltane, whenever the druids were in the part of celebration were they dranced over the fire, they would strip themselves naked, to not burn any clothes.

this advice to you is all about conquering your fear.

I truly hope this helps.

Yes as long as your heart is truly intent and meaningful towards Father Satan, I do not believe it will ultimately matter.

But here is were it does matter, sooner or later that fear will hold you back, psychologically, physically and even spiritually

Father Satan wants us to grow strong, and independent.

He wants us to be in control of our Lives and Destinies.

This is only possible through the slow erradicatoin of Fear, and replacement of fear with Control.

I think mainly because it can be dangerous, and I just hate the intense heat from it. Dont really know.

I hate spiders too but I can take spiders over fire anytime!

The heat from a candle is rather minimal. The best way to overcome a fear like this is control and preperation.

Perhaps do an exercise. First of all, go outside with your candle and matches. Then, have a glass of water to put the flame out if need be. Make sure there is nothing flamable around the candle (such as gasses or chemicals). Then simply light the candle. This is sort of to 'condition' yourself to it. To make you realise it isn't as bad as you're making it. Once you realise you can safely light a candle without needing all these precautions, the fear should slowly disolve.

You can continue to do this till you work your way up to doing it inside.

Also, you can do your ritual outside if you wish.

If you need, you can burn the prayer with Satanic Blue Flame. Visualise the prayer burning and releasing the energies into the astral. This is just as valid as burning it. Afterwards you can bury the prayer respectfully, somewhere where it won't be distrubed.

However I feel you should attempt to overcome your fear of flame, as it will help greatly further down the track with rituals. And fear is something of the enemy. As Satanists, we hold no fear, and work to dispell any that plagues us.

Demonic fury, there are times when we are subconsciously afraid of something, with a reason, but our mind is doing repression as those things are traumatic for us.There is nothing dangerous about a little flame from a candle. And about it being hot, that is something you should get used to I don't have my kundalini risen, but as you could read there is scorching hot sensation through your spine when that happens. As i have said, send me an email and i will help you to overcome that fear, there is a simple method. I had same fear from everything that is sharp, not really any trauma, I just didn't like knives and similar things, but after few practices i am joking around with them.

Thanks guys for giving me advice.

I have spiritually talked to Satan about this and I'm hoping he can help me get over fears lol. Though I feel like an idiot lol. But hopefully he understands more than I do.

I told him I will still sign my name in my blood.

I don't have anywhere to bury it outside since I live in an apartment and my landlord constantly mows and digs to plant flowers so the ground gets disturbed a lot lol.

Fuck, I wish I had a friend do the ritual with me so they could light the candle LOL!

I just finished reading the "Dedicate your soul to Satan" on JoS website and realized I"m screwed forever.

I have an unbelievable fear of fire and lighting candles is one of them...so now I can't dedicate at all and this really fucking sucks!

This is devastating for me!

Now what!?

I guess it kinda sucks to be me lol

Okay I'm having some issues here. I am happy pretty much all the time and hyper. I have ADD big time and I find it really hard to meditate unless I'm smoking pot. Am I doing something wrong? When I try to meditate sober my eyes get flitty and don't feel comfortable being shut, I get muscle twitches. I am very aware of certain chakras in my body that are unblocked. For instance my root chakra is level my sacral is finally under control. My heart chakra is always open maybe too open. Throat chakra is cool and even. My third eye chakra is starting to open a little. But I have major blockage in the crown chakra and navel chakra. I have no idea how to raise kundalini and with out weed I can't get my mind to shut up long enough to meditate on anything. I need some advice or suggestions. I want to know Satan. I feel duped by religion- he is the true god of humanity and intellect. How can I be close to him without meditation- I need some suggestions...

You cannot be close to Him without meditation.

You want to fix the twitches and gitters whilst meditating? Cut out the pot. This is doing nothing good for you. It is the cause of your problems.
And I don't mean stop smoking it when you're meditating. I mean stop completely.

Do this, and continue to practice meditation daily. And you will notice a huge difference, and you will start to become better, more focused and more relaxed.

Focus on the meditations on the templeofzeus.org. You should open the chakras in the order that is on there.

Well put En Haradren Amlug,

Pot does nothing but make it seem to you that is helping when in truth is it creating dependencies where you think it is helping you visualize, actually its trapping to were you only are able to visualize / relax while smoking.

Drugs are not of Satan.

I was a huge burner in the past.

I quit and got my life straightened out, and never once have i ever felt better, more impowered.

Constant meditation is a must.

i myself think why people can progress through many decades is because of the reincarnation. when a person dies it leaves with the memory and ability it gained, so it means the more person experiences and dies the more experience and skill it would carry. thats why probably newborns these days are so different than us ( they know more than us ) and this is what people call as "Indigo children". indigo is a colour, colours mean energy levels etc.
