Deleting an account takes a lot of time on the end of Cobra, and is only done if there are some kind of privacy implications. Personally I would "veto" for your posts to be deleted so that no new members will read any of that misinformation, but it will likely not happen as Cobra is very busy already as it is.

You have 597 comments. Cobra is not going to spend several hours going one by one through all of those different topics deleting 600 comments for you. It's a waste of time and effort, and the only one who cares about that being done is just you. Nothing is stopping you from just logging out of your account and never log back in. If you want to leave, then leave.

And it's not like those comments can ever be erased anyway. Because all of us remember them all, especially the worse ones. You can't delete those comments from everybody's memory.

Stop using your account, plain and simple. The only reason you'd want your account deleted is because you don't want posts you've made being viewable anymore, and there are some colorful and insightful replies to a good amount of your topics / posts.

Don't worry about your past. It is what it is. I have plenty of things in my post history that I regret, but I know that my reputation among my peers will come to reflect my current knowledge and behavior, not that of my past.
