Scoliosis and energy meridians

I was wondering if scoliosis can change the distribution of energy or block certain areas of the brain and how that could affect me?
If I meditate to the point that I can't handle it, my legs feel uncomfortable. But mainly my left leg, this leg is shorter and tighter. It never relaxes, my toes automatically curl. Same goes for my left arm. My right leg and arm are super relaxed, so my left nerves are always firing, and if the right brain connects to the left nerves could this have affected my right brain?

If I workout and get tired, the left side of my back and left leg feel tired, like a feeling I can't shake off. Even if I walk around or do errands my lefts side receives this tiredness like the feeling of having too much Qi in the nerves and they feel burned out like electricity.
So what I have to do is constantly stretch the left side, and then I feel the energy more balanced and more comfort throughout my body. I'm already fixing this although I'm being a little risky doing face pulling to fix face asymmetry (which can cause maloclussion) but it is definitely helping.
But it was years of these constant patterns, I wonder if they fried my brain or my nerves? How this affected my ida and pingala or if there is anything I should know or any comments?

Scoliosis is the product of an energy imbalance, usually one side of the body being overactive and causing the other side to become under active. If I were to perform acupuncture on a patient such as yourself I would look for the most painful places on your body along the left side and needle them - maybe have a feel around and see if you can find some very tender points along your shoulder and around the hip/buttock area and massage these deeply. I will post a list of starting points for you later today if you like.

Wonderful, CentralForce.
Also, Shenshakti, doing Qigong exercises as well as the alternate sun moon breath helps to balance the energy in the body especially of you are concerned about your ida and pingala.

Qigong is pretty much a full body acupuncture and acupressure self treatment. Spreading, balancing and circulating the body's energy very well. It will clear out pains and stagnant areas but within a couple of days of doing it, you might notice pain in the stuck areas which shows that energetic equilibrium is being attained.

The standing like a tree exercise in Qigong is a good one for this. It will also cleanse and balance your nerves.

That would be cool, do you have any for the face and skull? I'm slowly strengthening the under-active areas because when I over-exercise them my spine becomes really straight with a new sense of orientation but my hips feet squeezed. It feels unnatural and I feel it is because my atlas vertebrae might be crooked. When I got my wisdom teeth removed I developed myopia at 17. I think there might be a connection although I had a crooked jaw growing up.
So my hip is definitely affected and my torso is getting better but there is an extra pull my body just can't make and I think it comes from the neck, skull and face. I can do proprioceptive neurofacilitation stretches to rapidly increase my flexibility but the muscles seem shorter due to a wiring of the nerves. They might me slightly adjusted by my sphenoid and maxillary bones being slightly twisted.
Thanks soutlaw92 I appreciate it, that might helps as my body needs to re-learn its posture.

Start with these points and let me know how it makes you feel. That will give me a feel for which channels are most affected:

Bladder 62 - on the outside of the foot.

Kidney 6- on the inside of the foot.

San Jiao 17 -

Gall Bladder 30 - this point is one third the distance from the greater trochanter of the femur to the sacrococcygeal hiatus at the base of the sacrum.

Let m know which of these produces the most pain or gets a result for you when massaged.

Apologies for not getting these up sooner, I have been flat out.

Okay the Bladder 62 on outside of the foot didn't cause big pain, I'm not sure if the pain I felt is normal or not but didn't uncomfortable.
The Kidney 6 inside of foot felt pretty good, my right toe got a little tingly and it felt weird in a good way massaging these points like my foot generated electricity.
I'm not sure how deeply to massage these points or for how long but I just tested the areas.
Ren 23 point felt pretty good, my ears felt a buzz of energy inside.
San Jiao behind ear, didn't feel pain here.
Gall Bladder 30 there was light pain but felt really good.
I want to mention that I do feel pain in the area where the temporal bones and cheeckbones join, but it seems the pain is in the entire zygomatic process even lightly massaging it but I'm not sure if that is normal for everyone.
No worries about the time, I appreciate your help.

Hey all, mike666 here from the jos boards. Occasionally filling in for central force when he is occupied. ?
Tell me did you massage these these points yourself? I was just going to add that gb30 is quite deep as a point and is best served with a very firm pressing/suppressing  - preferably with the tip of elbow and by somebody else. From clinical experience it is best found at the point of most sensitivity. And the point is one of my all times favourites as I believe it is one of the points that really frees up your energy in a place where energy is known to get stuck (hips/bottom)
Anyway you guys are doing  a great job here and I look forward to more discussion

Hey Mike, I did massage these points myself. It was hard to get GB30 and I don't think I did it right so I will try again with a baseball. I use it for myofascial release and haven't done this in a long time and I think I might need to do this to improve my healing.

Yeah it's hard to get it exactly right on yourself. You should see me trying to needle it on myself ? if you have anyone that can dig their elbow into it for you - that would be ideal. If you don't it's no big deal and baseball will work ok

Firm pressure is good, for about a minute on each point.. work from there depending on how your body feels and how good of a reaction you are getting on individual points...

What is your sleep like? Do you tend to sleep a lot and still feel tired during the day or do you have the opposite problem?

Do you have an in- or outstep? IE your feet pointing excessively towards the outside or inside or even just one foot doing that?

That's almost as bad as when I needled Bladder 13 on myself to try and get rid of a wind cold invasion... lol

Yeah it was awkward... I wouldn't do it again, for safety's sake.

Yes she has, hence why I haven't been posting much...

Thanks man, I'm gonna try it today after working out just to be warmed up.
I usually feel tired around noon, especially from 12-4 it's so bad I tend to take a nap. Some days it can be pretty bad but others it's not as bad I guess it depends whether I drink coffee, if I drink beers, or too much exercise.
I tend to be the person to feel more awake and alert at night, my temperature usually gets higher at night but during the past months it seems like I can sleep easier than before, I used to have really bad insomnia but I think it is better than before. But generally my tiredness isn't very bad, but then again I work very few hours so I can't imagine the stress that would be put on my body if I had a hard job.
My feet point to the right, my left one supinates and right one pronates. My knees have opposite tension like my right quad, the vastus lateralis is too loose and the vastus medialis is tight. My left knee is opposite, the vastus lateralis is very tight and vastus medialis is loose. Same pattern in my triceps, in the same manner as long tricep head on left side tight, affecting (maybe?) latissimus dorsi, teres, and entire back and small lateral head loose. Right long tricep head is loose but the small lateral head is tight. I think it's weird that on my left arm and left leg which are tight both have a loose muscle (vastus medialis, and lateral tricep head (both are considered triceps)) and the right arm and right leg have a tight small muscle. I don't understand the connection but it is what it is.
So my posture is getting more comfortable but if I try to make my feet straight and everything it feels as if the nerves coming from my skull down the spine aren't completely sliding down my body so I feel slight irritation in whatever nerve is in my leg (tibial?).
Right now my left sciatic nerve feels electrified, it's always like this, it's pretty annoying.
Do people with skull/face asymmetries take a long time to heal? I have a couple months facepulling and it's been pretty fast, but from certain angles it seems like it is very slow. I realized my left cheekbone was more stuck in than the right one so I pulled it out and felt cracking on my skull on the right side and my nose actually got bigger on the left side. I have a roman nose and looks bigger from the right, but from the left it almost looks like a greek nose until now.
I wonder if I could just heal this with advanced qi gong meditations? I haven't meditated very much like before, I'm just a little scared I might not know what I'm doing but at the same time I feel something guiding me. I think my face will have maximum results in 2017, but around summer I should see a big difference, hopefully enough to have a 70-80% healed scoliosis. That would be very comfortable, although I have been feeling more straighter and I think I got taller. I feel taller from my left ribcage being stretched out.
So you have a baby? Congrats brah, that must feel good to have a family.

I don't have a lot (none) of experience or knowledge when it comes to face pulling but from what you have described, it sounds as though you have a Yin and Yang Qiao meridian imbalance.

Bladder 62 and Kidney 6 are great points to help you rectify this, as are Lung 7 and pericardium 6... not sure if I posted them previously but I'll answer a bit more in depth in a few days... it does feel good to have a family yes but six kids can be taxing on one's time also..

I'm sorry for delaying, I got a pretty bad flu or infection. Which I wanted to ask you if this causes depression? Is it the phlegm causing this? I had this for almost 2 weeks it is severe and I feel like going outside and screaming. I have been feeling grief from the past. I think what you said seems spot on, the type of imbalance.

I wonder if my skull is releasing toxins? I will do the acupressure points today since it seems I can move more and I think they helped since my progress has been faster. I have a hard time believing all this, I look younger. I have always been good looking but wow I look amazing haha no brag. My posture and my hip seems balanced like my waist size reduced due to less tilting. I really hope I'm not imagining things, the only problem I see is my teeth won't line up but so far they are good.

Face pulling is kinda new, if you google TMJ and face pulling you'll find the site and he also mentions qi gong. It involved pulling the upper arch of teeth up and out in a spiraling vector. I use my thumbs to pull through my molars but since it's a crossbite I used different angles which I know I need the help of a professional but everything seems good ao far. I think the maxilla, zygomatic bones, sphenoid and skull bones realign rather than stretch out but I really don't know because why would this help with my spine unless the pivoting of the upper arch on the spine gets balanced.

You have not provided those point but I will try to find them. Thanks a lot man, I will do the other points today especially the one on the gluteal area.

I meant to say what you said resonates with my imbalance since I don't have much knowledge on TCM but always have felt like I have to focus more on the right when doing cobra breaths.

So this depression phase is over, have no idea what it was. No matter how much I cleaned my aura and chakras I felt heavily depressed. I still have some left over phlegm, I have never gotten sick so bad.

Do I use the acupressure points daily or how much in frequency?

The one on the gluteus side felt a strong rush of energy, but I feel I might not be hitting ot right. Is it near the piriformis? I'm not even sure where to find the trochanter.

It is right on the piriformis yes - the trochanter is the outside bony prominence of the leg bone.

The points would best be done daily, or even twice daily if you have time for a minute on each point and on both sides of the body (or the most tender side for one sided pathologies such a yours).
