I think I've worked out the meaning behind Revelations. It's not a false warning against Satan, it's a classic hegelian dialectic where the Jews have their fingers on both sides of the scale. The key to understanding this is Revelations 13 and 13:9-10. The "Beast" describes a world government of the sort the Jews would set up, but it also commands the Christians NOT TO FIGHT AGAINST IT. The whole message of Revelations is that if you haven't been "raptured" once it happens then you're doomed. So you demoralize the Christians into submitting to the "Beast," but that's only step one. The next step is that the "Messiah" will show up, and will NOT show up to "save" or "liberate" the Christians, but to "Rule with a rod of iron." The Christians will finally see their Messiah, but he will come to enslave them and endlessly torment them, and the best part? They will NEVER resist. They will fully believe that they deserve every last bit of it for giving up their faith and submitting to the "Beast." This is the final masterstroke of the Christian program, and the sadism is beyond belief.
