To say "without Satan" is a good answer. But having my major in college the English Language, it is more simple than that. In the context that "without" is used, it is an old fashioned way of saying 'outside of' as in outside of a group, or physically outside of a location. The way we use it means outside of the group of Satan's Followers. After explaining grammar, I WILL ADMIT THE IMAGE OF BEING WITHOUT FATHER SATAN IS A MORE SATISFYING EXPLANATION.
