No, in the Catholic Church, beatification is the first step to canonisation. Beatification requires one 'proven' miracle, canonisation requires two. The long-term agenda probably is to make John Paul II a saint. What offends me the most is all the lies these people come out with about ritual Satanic abuse of children and the bloody priests are the ones who are really doing it. You don't see seminars about 'Recovering from Catholic ritual abuse', do you?
