There is alot of Beautiful Metal out there that has meaning. I hate metal with meaningless vulgar lyrics such as Gwar. They are annoying and just blah! Or Metal that is full of angst amd just NOISE. Lyrics are important to me in music.

I have no doubts that there is. I'm just used to going by how a song sounds than the lyrics. Gwar? I don't care for them. I'm not saying that I don't care for lyrics, but it's just secondary most of the time for me. I am the opposite. For me, I look for an atmosphere that a song is able to create. A feeling, through provoking and paints an image, all this without lyrics. This is what attracts me to the Ambient Black Metal scene with bands such as Summoning, early Mortiis and Burzum. Another good band is Moonsorrow, they have very strong BM influence, but are founded in more pagan roots and traditions, lyrically and instramentally.
