Hi! I know that majority of us cannot meet in person due to security purposes and there are only few of us who can be accomodated via Zevistic Funeral.

My first question would be, If we can baptist ourselves alone as an initiation to Zevism, How about the funeral rites especially to those people whose environments are filled with christians and how are we supposed to do it or who can do it for us?

Thank you for sharing your insights and opinions. Looking forward to the responses.

Hi, here's how I see it. The physical rites and ceremony are of little consequence and wether it's my funeral that I'm considering or a friends/sisters/brothers, the important thing would be to honor that person by rememberance, send love and support for their upcoming journey and do a ritual to Lord Anubis if you feel that it is appropriate (although that is probably more for the benefit of the suplicant than the departed person).

This community cares for its people and wether we knew them personally or not, if it is known that some of our own have passed then we send a parting gift remember and mention them occasionally until we're reunited.

Afterlife

Today, I was told that a friend (not zevist, but a great man nevertheless) left us and it did shake me up a bit, I cried a little and then fondly replayed some moments in my head. I also remembered some others that left earlier. We move forward, that's it.

I would be pleased if by the time I'm leaving, my children understand these matters well, continue advancing in life and remember from time to time what they were taught so that they can apply it.
