This has been a annoying me for the past few days, a fair few people on the site say that it's better to be a Satanist when summoning a demon, my question is why? In the legend of king Solomon he summoned the 72 demons of the goetic, who did what he asked and was perfectly safe because of protective circles and magical symbols.

I was thinking for my first summoning that I would try Barbatos, he seems rather interesting as it's said he can lead men to hidden treasures protected by enchantments, would it be wrong to request if he could do just that? Or is it too greedy or shallow a request even to make one's life better? If not, what do demons usually ask for in return other than respect during these meetings? And has anyone ever had contact with Barbatos? What's he like?

Also if one summons a demon to learn a language or knowledge for the sake of it, of gaining knowledge that is, is that allowed or frowned upon?

The Demons are free now and summoning them through such abusive means will get you fucked. Not to mention that they are our friends to begin with. Would you like to ask your friend a favor by tying him up and ordering him to do it, while cursing and threatening him? What kind of a Satanist are you to even consider it?

As for the request, it is up to the Demon to agree or not to agree. Just make sure to offer something in return. Some of the best options here is to work to advance Satanism or/and against Satan's enemies, but make sure to ask if the Demon agrees on this.

And asking for knowledge is not a bad thing, quite the opposite actually. One of the things Demons do is guide us through various ways.

i find this quite offensive too, what do you think a Daemon/Demon is? They are beings of great spiritual advancement with feelings, emotions, and consciousnesses much greater than that you can ever imagine with your current state of thought. You are going to piss a lot of REAL spiritually powerful people speaking like that with that extreme ignorance.
Your legend will do nothing but get you killed, as it is just another LIE. used to confuse, and manipulate the gentile people

for real, Read everything on the JoS website and affiliate links with an open mind and as much analytic thinking as possible, read the section about temple of solomon, the truth regarding it might open up your eyes.

your way of thinking is fucked up, so i would get it straight before you even join these groups, as for me i made sure i read the book of posts the JoS website the affiliate websites, and the JoS pdf, and then dedicated my soul to Satan (because I then WANTED too, as he is our true LOVING CREATOR GOD), before i ever joined this group or any other groups, others should honestly do the same.

I've read the JOS website countless times and that's why I posted because no, it's section on demons didn't answer my question. Well, since I'm new to all of this I thought asking questions were a good thing. All I wanted was a simple answer, not to be virtually attacked because you find simple questions offensive, even though I meant no harm in the first place. And "deal with this guy", sorry if I misinterpret but that sounds a bit threatening and plain and simple it's rude all because I asked questions. I'm sure you were all young, inexperienced, scared and curious at one point as well and if not then lucky you but some of us are curious and want to know why, isn't that what Father himself did to Eve? Provided knowledge and she was not punished or ridiculed by him but the enemy while it seems here that I'm being ridiculed and virtually attacked by Father's own which doesn't seem fair, not in the slightest.

1st question : it would be better to be a Satanist\connected to Satan before summoning a Demon, because it says on JoS that Demons can find dabblers pesky, and those who treat them like they are some kind of servants, might end up hurt.
2nd: They don't just do what we ask them to do, nor will they attack you, ' and was perfectly safe because of protective circles and magical symbols', that sentence is offensive towards our Gods. And you can read all that on JoS too.3rd: You are talking like they are Genies from the lamp, they do not simply fulfill wishes, they help us to advance. That is also explained on JoS.4th: In return, that was a fair question as it doesn't say there what exactly to offer, but mostly your dedication in Satanism, advancing, revealing truth everywhere, etc.5th: No i haven't contacted him.6th: If i have understood you well, yes it is allowed and most common thing when talking to a Demon, they help us to gain knowledge, to advance. That also can be found on JoS.
I am sorry because i have offended you, but 4\6 answers can be found on JoS, 5th question can be answered only from personal experience so logically, it can't be found on JoS, except for some characteristics tho, on Demons section. So only 4th question is somewhat a good question.
Once again, my apologizes if it sounded threatening to you, we do not harm others nor deal with them in that kind of way. I am not experienced enough to talk on behalf of my brothers and sisters, that is why i asked someone else to 'deal' with you. :)

It certainly isn't for everybody, I wish I had more local friends like you!

Search your soul. Pray to Satan. End each prayer in NEMA! NEMA NEMA!

Ask some higher power for a glimpse maybe.

Every one is a critic. But anyways let's use some sense here, the demons would love nothing more than to help you learn as long as you show them respect and devotion. And as far as like looking for treasure or whatever I wouldn't request it, if they want you to find it they will see you get it in due time believe me I would love to know where stuff like that is but if I didn't earn it from the them yet then I need to prove to them I am worthy of such. Get what I'm saying?

Also if one summons a demon to learn a language or knowledge for the sake of it, of gaining knowledge that is, is that allowed or frowned upon?

Apology accepted :), but I have to say I AM sorry I caused offence to anyone or the gods. It's just being brought up by a die hard catholic/Christain family it's been hard to ignore fears or things like that that have been practically indoctrinated into me but I wanted to break free because I never found Satan bad or evil or whatever other label can be used, he gave knowledge, what was so wrong with that? It's not fair that he should be blamed because he did nothing and is made out to be evil by the enemy because he opened our eyes! ....Sorry for the rant, it just annoys me a great deal and I can't share my thoughts with anyone where I live for obvious reasons. I would like to inform you all that I HAVE read the JOS website fully and now feel a lot more enlightened, it makes so much sense that what the enemy calls demons are the gods of old and because they are not apart of their faith they're automatically deemed evil. I do need to thank you all though. :)

Would you like to further clarify this, please? As I don't understand what you mean. You say you have read the entire JoS site carefully. Where, then, is there any mention of "Eve"?  Could you please show the link?Or is this a personal belief?
And where, then, in the bible, does it mention that Lord Satan did anything to Eve?

I said that Father gave Eve knowledge and understanding because that's what he did by getting her to eat the forbidden fruit she gained knowledge and was frowned upon by christianity's so called 'loving god'. That's all I meant by 'that's what Father did to Eve', he gave her knowledge. No I haven't read that site but thank you.

I'm also curios, what do Satanists think of Nazism and what happens to our souls after we die? Since we've dedicated them to Father do we go to Hell? If so....what happens to us there?

I said 'legend', the definition of a legend is that it is "A traditional story sometimes popularly regarded as historical but unauthenticated." The definition of 'unauthenticated' is "not proven or validated". So ni by calling those stories legends I am not speaking of them like they're fact when their definition is basically fiction. I simply asked a few questions and from what I have read on the JOS site that is never a bad thing.

And? There's thousands of topics in this group that can also be answered on the JOS website but I don't see anyone criticising them, especially when you're basing what you claim on your own opinion, that I'm speaking of these stories like they're real when I never said anything like that. Is their something wrong with having an open mind and asking questions without being verbally insulted or patronized because people can't look with an open mind?
