HPS Pythia said demons hate circles. The Solomonic perspective claims that the circle protects the magician when he evokes the demons and that demons try to trick the magician into leaving the circle so they can attack them. There are stories from magicians who have claimed to evoke demons and be able to use various rituals to bind the demon in case the demon disobeys the magician. What happens when such people evoke demons? Are they summoning the entity, or is something else going on? What they're reporting contradicts what the TOZ claims of the Goetic demons being benevolent and powerful.

Most information about the Demons or God's outside of the TOZ has been stained with lies and is not accurate information. From what I know (May not be the most accurate), is that Demons dislike circles and this may be seen as a act of foolishness and disrespect to the Demon being summoned. Demons do not have any reason to attack unless the summoner has unjust intent and/or is a Christian fooling around. Even then, most times they simply may refuse to answer. I do not have much experience in this field but this is from what I know and have heard.

Most times these accounts of "summoning" are simple delusions and even if they do manage to summon a Demon, it most times does not end well (thus the need for protection). Any true Zevist will be accepted by the Demon being summoned as the Demon knows those who are with and those who are without.

Demons are higher level beings that do not bow down to no one but Zeus. A Demon does keep his promise in a pact or deal but if the human does not, there will be actions or karma against them.

It is now common knowledge in the TOZ that everything coming from the "Gotetic" Demons are falsified (especially the illustrations) and used to scare away people from Lord Zeus.

It does not contradict anything. For starters, have you seen the rituals these magickians use to evoke the Gods? They are extremely abusive and disrespectful, no wonder that it would anger the Gods and make it to attack them. Even if they didn't use these abusive rituals, their motives for summoning the Gods are less than respectful or genuine. They are not seeking to establish mutual respectful relationships with them, they are seeking to take advantage of them and use them as their personal slaves.

If you want to see an example of how these people view the Gods, see the quoted posts by "alzo rozan" in this thread from the JoS Yahoo group archive and how disrespectfully he talks of them, referring to them as "servitors":

Do you think the Gods really like someone like him?

Also, many of them have trouble with the Gods even when using circles to abuse them. HP Pythia gave an example: she said in a book the author tried to summon Bune using circles and grimoire methods and it backfired for him:

The book reads on, and after repeated attempts using coercion, threats, and so forth, the author is able to secure a few more visits and becomes bold enough to demand financial assistance. The Demon replies that he is "unable to come through," as he has "no power over the economy in this day and age." All the author got out of the experience was lies, double-talk, and much wasted energy. The author said the experience "took everything out of him," aging him physically, mentally, and spiritually. He got what he deserved! These fools never stop to think that in death, there is no protective 9-foot circle, and when one's soul leaves one's body permanently, the Demons they have made enemies of will be waiting. The energy of a human spirit is nothing compared to the power of a Demon. I know because I have invoked both Demons and deceased human souls.

It's not only the ToZ/JoS that has found that the Goetic Gods are human-friendly, either. Konstantinos, the author of Summoning Spirits, Nocturnicon, Vampires: The Occult Truth and many others stated in his book "Summoning Spirits" that all the Gods from Goetia are friendly to humans and he's found that from his experiences. And he's far from a "Satanist" or Zevist, he's some sort of "Dark Wiccan" who likes darkness, vampires and gothic stuff but still believes in the mainstream version of karma and believes black magick spells are evil and will cause harm to yourself if you use them.

Salt circles do nothing to demons. But if you feel like bothering them as those who are without, Be my guest. They've got a whole lifetime and more available
