Question on Pagan Rituals and Sacrifice

I was wondering why the Pagans of old practiced ritualistic sacrifice in order to gain favor from the Gods and why it is now against our Satanic code of ethics.
Could they have been victims of misinterpretation of some sort?

Also, I happened to find an article on Babylon that states the Priestesshood had to have ritualistic intercourse with the congregation as part of their initiation.
Is it because of the distinct sacredness of sex that we no longer attribute to it due to xian brainwash?

It would be great if Pythia - or anyone for that matter, would touch on this rather relevant topic.

I've been wondering about that myself. Perhaps those accounts of
sacrifices were altered? Well, why do you think it's against our
ethics? I mean, theyr'e innocent animals, why should we kill them?
They've done nothing wrong, and we can achieve godhood without killing
things. That's just my take on it though, I do not know why texts
spoke of pagan sacrifices; only thing I can think is, like I said,
they were purposely altered and slandered.

By "sacrifice", I was mainly referring to humans. However, I do agree with you being against their cruelty towards animals.

There are far too many cases, artifacts/documents/inscriptions and physical evidence.
Some pieces have only been unearthed quite recently and there are plenty that still remain untouched.

"Ethics" is a word I used instead of "conduct".
It is obvious that ritualistic sacrifice is against Satanic beliefs of most sorts (this can not be dictated as Satanism is an anti-dogmatic path) and the countless number of articles made by Satanists denying the actual participation of Satanists in ritualistic sacrifice or abuse of any sort.

I really cannot fathom any logical reason behind this.

But, then again, my hours of endless research are nothing compared to Pythia's forever.

You can ask Satan Himself too and He disagrees with harming his own people or animals and he's very protective of us. He always disagreed, this isn't a new thing and He just changed His mind.

I was also thinking about that awhile back. There seems to be a few different cultures that do human sacrifices for their gods. I find it interesting that the Central America natives practiced human sacrifice.

I personally think that this could be the work of the greys. It makes sense that the enemy would cause these opposing religions even on the other side of the planet when these natives were secluded from the rest of the world.

I do not know if this is true, but I makes sense to me.

Hail Satan
