Question for the females zevists here:

How do you manage meditation during your period? I find it very difficult to meditate due to the physical fatigue caused by my period, and I also find it very difficult in terms of my mood. Should I feel guilty if I can't give my best during those days? Do you have any advice on this?
Thank you in advance, as always 🖤🖤

If you're fatigued, there is something wrong. Either you are low in iron, or need yin or yang somewhere. Nobody should be fatigued, I used to be as well but after years of meditation, yoga, Qigong, and proper nutrition I am not. Same with mood swings, these are caused by an imbalance.

Crystals that help with all PMS symptoms are Labradorite, Moonstone, Carnelian.

When we are on our periods, we have more power for magick. Meditation has the potential to be very strong during this time, so you should find out what is wrong and fix it, to take advantage of this powerful time.

There has been a lot of advice posted over the years, search in these forums with my name, Shannon's name, and a general search for more advice by other members :)

To have iron, horse meat is great.

It would be best to not advise bizarre Asian practices. We don't eat horses, I have never heard of anyone eating horse meat outside of Asia.

There are many ways to get iron without eating a horse.

(Don't be surprised if you get the oven reaction from members who love horses.)

Initially, it depends a lot on how your body reacts during your cycle. Personally, it doesn't change the way I meditate, but it definitely increases my strength and vitality.
Use simple methods, such as those already recommended by the High Priestess (eating well, exercising, etc.), so that you are not held back by something that is purely natural. The menstrual cycle is a woman's purification. It is essential to experience it well, especially during meditation and yoga.

The important thing is to do everything without feeling guilty. If you are aware that you have done your best, you must be grateful to yourself and listen to your body.

Sorry, I never realized it's supposed to be a bad thing to do... Genuinely.

I used to eat it when I was very small due to iron deficiency, and I allways saw that it's sold near the meat products of cows, pigs and chicken, and I'm not from Asia.

That's quite a discovery to me...

Glad that I, as a man, do not have to undergo this.

We are making it illegal in Italy, indeed it would be highly symbolic to ban the consumption of horse meat in Italy this year, the year of the horse.

For most people, it is horrifying to eat a horse. Humanity would never have expanded if not for our majestic equine friends. Many people would have perished from not being able to access anywhere by foot. Horses made expansion and travel possible.

I have low iron and also suffered from fatigue. The best nutritional advice I was given was to eat a steak on the first day of my period. I usually combine it with raw carrot salad, which is hormone balancing. I grate the carrots (usually 2 large) and mix it with salt, pepper, 2 tbsp of coconut oil and 1 or 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar. That meal is amazing for alleviating the fatigue for me, personally.

Personally, I've always suffered greatly from my menstrual cycle, both physically and emotionally. I was anemic for a long time as a child, and I must admit that some natural iron supplements helped. I also often ate artichokes or vegetables containing iron to compensate for the meat. Horse meat is certainly very rich in iron, as is liver, but these are foods I personally can't eat. I can confirm, however, that in Italy there was a time when it was recommended, but today I would ban the trade of this animal.

Returning to my period, one thing that alleviated my pain to the point where I no longer noticed it was yoga, exercise, and meditation. These aren't immediate results, but they are very beneficial and effective. It can also be a psychological factor; while it's true that when you're on your period, you're more tired in some cases, but more often than not, it's a biological hormonal deficiency that leads to frustration and fatigue. Try basic breathing and meditation, and often even just letting go helps when you're tired—you'll see it's truly a healing touch.

I don’t get tired or have pain during my moon time (I refer to my period as that) since woman are connected to the moon and is more refined, I feel.

Be careful about just supplementing with iron. Copper is very important here too and iron needs copper to perform in the body properly. Many woman are copper and iron deficient, of course.

What really changed everything for me was supplementing with colloidal copper and that cured everything iron did not quite.

Copper also has other benefits and properties that are amazing. It’s an important mineral. It even gets rid of premature gray hairs. It’s a mineral that has elevated properties.

Don’t forget that magnesium stops cramps and elevated rhe bodies natural cycles.

Everyone should be taking magnesium. And speaking of, horse meat and blood, I don’t think to ingest that but I do take freezer dried bovine organs like liver (capsule form) which is very good for the body, but I take freeze dried grass fed blood which changed everything for me, more than the copper. Like effects like.

I appreciate the animals that have helped me heal. So have gratitude as well for the animals that die to sustain us and try not to detest or mentally “oppose” your moon time since that causes issues as well. Except it.

Fortifying your body will make having your moon time a simple and effortless occurrence.
It can make it lighter and shorten it a bit as well.
