Question concerning Xian spiritual warfare.

Roughly 10 years ago I was involved in a non-denominational Xian church that was into what they called "spiritual warfare". We would be told to gather around the front of the church by the podium and start praying in tongues (the so-called "language of the holy ghost"). There was always someone with a microphone who was designated as tne prayer leader. This person would start yelling into the microphone and saying things like this, "Satan we bind you in the name of jesus, we cast you and your foul demons into the abyss, blah, blah, blah, ect..."
My question is did what we were doing back then actually do anything or were we just making fools of ourselves and beating the air with our fists?

<td val[/IMG]I am ashamed to say I was like the one with the microphone,for over twenty years.My wonderful Father Satan,NEVER held that against me,and still loved me enough to call me back to Him.Now I get to have a part,in the destruction of that kike program myself.Can you ask for a more understanding,and forgiving God,as our wonderful Father Satan.Sometimes it still brings tears to my eye's,the way I was manipulated in trying to hurt the only one that ever truly loved me.I am forever His.

On these tongues,when i was still a kid i've this,n when i speak this,it seem i able to do things,but unlike xtians it seem i doing this without any fucker in me,i just well,speak,,it so weird,i prayed to satan on this,n then i saw a documentary that show snake dancers,n something about a voodo tongue/language.What do u guys think on this?
