Question about my finding my GD

I put myself into a trance as I am suppose to. But I wanted to know who my Guardian Demon was. Instead of me imagining myself walking down a ladder, there was white all around, and a person walking up to me. But this person was not evil, just dark like it was walking toward me from a distance. And they had a bright white light coming from their head. What happened? Is my guardian Demon not ready for me to know? I read about thought forms. The thing i saw looked like a person. 2 arms, 2 legs, walking. but it was black with a white light from its head. But i didnt feel hate.
