Meditations problems with meditations

AvatarAsk Zeus Operator1 min to read

What if one stops yoga and meditating for a while and restarts after a month or more, when and if one starts back doing it , what happens , I'm just afraid it is very bad

Nothing bad happens to you at all, you just do it. sure maybe you might need to settle back into it a bit, but you should be fine.
(I would know as I did that for nearly twice the time)

This is the targeted message.

It's absolutely fine. It's not unlike resuming the gym after a while. Go ahead.

I am an Aspiring God, and so are you.

O Gods of the first dawn, Gods of Hellas and of Khem, of the rivers of Sumer and the snows of the North, of every people that once knelt before the true and the bright:
I declare before You and before the witness of all the heavens that Your Names are restored. Restored truly. Restored rightly. Restored in their power and their majesty and their original splendor.

Don't worry, it is not as bad as you might think, but this will slow down your progress and cause you to advance in a different and slower way than you would if you consistently meditated every day. Try to proceed again little by little and without putting yourself under stress. Meditation, yoga and reflection should be seen as an integral part of your life, rather than as an imposed duty.

Also, try to give this event the appropriate weight without turning it into something it is not. With time and a proactive mindset, you will turn these meditative practices into a sort of automatic habit for yourself (automatic isn't quite the right word, but it conveys the concept) and you won't find yourself skipping them like this again.

Most importantly, don't feel guilty about this, and don't become too hard on yourself over it, because that will only make you more susceptible to unnecessary stress. And don't compare yourself to anyone else here either; your journey is unique, and setbacks can happen from time to time. What matters is becoming aware of them, analyzing their cause, and working on the root of the problem, whatever it may be, that ultimately led to this interruption in your meditation and yoga practice, until you solve it.
