One of my relatives was having difficulty dealing with blood sugar and cholesterol problems, and because of her age and other issues, she cannot easily lose weight.

1) How can I really be sure [edited out]

2) I am genuinely afraid that something might happen to her.

According to my reason and understanding, the true gods are benevolent and just, but my feelings tell me otherwise. What should I do?

A medical advise can not be given from ToZ but you should go to doctor. However about more easily loosing weight I think maybe some women here could help with their experience if it is the reason in itself in that part of the question.

To change your perception towards Gods To suggest to study ToZ material deeply.

While you cannot enforce her to do anything, you must amicably take her by the hand, and get her to a doctor, so she can moderate her problem before it becomes life threatening.

As you will be faced with denial, you will have to be patient to get her to this. Have patience and work it. If it doesn't work, explain to her that you tried and that she is in serious danger. If still there is no response, the problem is no longer yours to handle.

Things like that are medical problems. Spirituality can help, but it cannot on it's own overturn everything. Seek specialized counsel.

There were always doctors in this world in all civilizations; they did follow protocols of healing, not only a spiritual dimension.

To follow only a spiritual dimension, one is denying the laws of the material existence, which require material handling.
