It doesn't add up because it's all fake. "Azov Battalion" are a fake NS paramilitary group run by a jew. Their sole reason to exist seems to be so that Putin can look at them and say "See? There are Nazis in the Ukrainian army! We must invade!" That, and probably trying to get as many NS supporting Ukrainians killed as they can.
The guys joining this group can't be too smart though, I have to be honest. There's no way jew Zelensky would allow an actual NS paramilitary group to exist in Ukraine if there wasn't some kind of angle on the whole thing, and I can't believe they don't see that.
