Our Goals and Achievements

Greetings everyone

Seeing as we are all family here and care deeply for one another, I was hoping we could start a thread where we share some recent achievements we have made, as well as some goals we are working toward for the future.

I believe this could be very beneficial for all of us. Not only can we celebrate our accomplishments together as brothers and sisters, but we can also encourage and help keep one another accountable by openly discussing the goals we are striving toward.

We all wish to better emulate the Gods and understand that the true path requires effort, discipline, and consistent work. It also requires development across many different areas of life, not just one.

For one person, growth may mean attending therapy and working through struggles with mental health. For another, it may mean becoming a better parent, learning a new skill, improving emotional control, or overcoming destructive habits.

All of these things help make us more complete human beings and strengthen our ability to better serve ourselves, the Gods, and the community around us.

I also know that many people here can be very hard on themselves. Even when they accomplish something meaningful, they focus only on what remains unfinished or criticize themselves for how far they still have to go.

While self-critique can sometimes help fuel growth, it can also slow momentum if we never allow ourselves to appreciate the fruits of our labor and acknowledge the progress we have already made.

We are all in different stages of life and pursuing different goals, but whether an achievement seems big or small, it is healthy to both celebrate our accomplishments and continue planning for future growth.

I believe a thread like this can help us better recognize our own development, motivate one another through community, and strengthen our bonds as a family under the Gods.

Given as the Gods want us to be more financially powerful
I have started working on different avenues to both learn about finances and build wealth .

One achievement I have made that I am proud of is that I recently been making modest payments towards some credit card debt that i have been neglecting .

I understand that a lot of wealth building can come from investing my resources to help grow my wealth.

Even without investments, having 20% interest on my debt is taking a percentage of all my earnings every month just to maintain

Once my debt is paid off that money I typically put towards interest I can either invest now or donate to the temple .

I put this off for a long time but I feel good that I am finally facing this burden and making the sacrifices necessary to rectify this issue.

This is an important step to growing my wealth in the future .

Another achievement i would like to share is that I have recently worked with my wife to build a better schedule for our tasks.

Balancing work, children , and growth in the path can be quite difficult and I recognised that my wife wasn’t getting enough time or breathing room to meditate

She is naturally more structured than me and this problem was stemming from my end and not hers.

This is still a work in progress but I’m happy to celebrate that better infrastructure has been put in place and we are making progress in this area

One goal I have right now is to change my career

I have a new career mapped out but I must do some brief school courses before starting an apprenticeship program.

So I have started the courses but the ultimate goal here is to get a job that will help me better financially support my family and become a stronger pillar for the temple.

One more goal I have is to build the habit of journaling consistently

Organising my thoughts and emotions better and keeping track of my goals both in Zevism and my daily life will greatly aid in my growth for the future.

Good luck to you, brother, in your endeavors!

I do not know how it works, but whenever I share my goals, something always goes wrong, be careful with it. The safest way is to share only what has already happened, what has already been achieved.
The mind yearns for completed work sadly the same way energy yearns for the easiest route,

There's is a lot to consider when you speak of your goals in a way they sound already complete in 'your mind'
It will just tick the box, treating the goal as a completed manifestation and move on.
All that raw energy keeping the momentum just gets redirected into a quick and fast dopamine hit.

You can always keep it to yourself if it's truly is the crowd you share with the problem,or just watch your words and the things you speak,
Especially for a Zevist who is frequent with meditation and with an active throat chakra, you might just be effectively manifesting the undesired results with no idea you sabotaged yourself with your words

This is completely true, for some people. For other people, sharing their goals helps propel them along. It's best to know which type you are.

I was super suspicious about this, asking myself how can this be so. Now, I see your reply here and it is worth a pot of gold for me. Thank you.

There’s an idea that when you truly want something, you generate a kind of internal energy for it. But that energy is easy to lose. If you start doubting yourself, it just scatters. And if you tell someone about your plans, and they react with skepticism or envy, they dampen that charge too.

In the end, it all comes down to your ability to keep your plans to yourself and stay confident. It’s better to build up your strength and take the first step before wasting your resources on empty talk or dealing with other people’s opinions.
