New Zealand Earthquake

Halo brethren, There has been a very big earthquake in the South Island of our country. It happend at midnight and was 7.5 on the scale. Do you feel it was because of the Supermoon?? And why ?? I would really appreciate the time and effort into answering this for me. Thank you HAIL SATAN!!

It could be...the Moon affects all waters on Earth, which can have an effect on many things.New Zealand, being an island has a profound volcanic history as well. That and nearby fault-line activity could all have been factors in initiating an earthquake. The Moon being so close right now has an amplified influence...which could have acted as a catalyst.
These are just educated guesses though, I don't have a definite answer for you.
