I'm new new to Santanism (dedicated 6 months ago) and to this forum. 
I'm so happy to have a safe place to ask questions and interact with similar people.
I do have a question though about summoning a demon. Jos is a great website but it has left me confused. I'm trying to find the right incense for a demon. Do you select it from the Demons planet? Or from what you're trying to accomplish? 
I've been summoning Balam help with knowledge - his planet is Mars, one of the incense for Mars is dragons blood. But if you look ‎at knowledge/wit etc it's under a different planet with lavender as the incense. So how do I choose the incense without insulting my demon?

The Demon will not be insulted as long as the incense smells good. Well, when I had did a summoning ritual, I chose an incense that corresponded to the planet that corresponded (xD) to what I wanted to accomplish; but if you feel it'd be better to choose the planet that corresponds to the Demon, then choose that. I don't believe it will affect the summoning in its results etc.
However, it'd be advisable to be spiritually open before doing the summoning, otherwise you won't even manage to feel the God's presence. So, I don't know if you've been meditating since you did the dedication ritual, but if not, or if you feel that you're not advanced enough, you should wait a bit more and work on empowering your soul.
