<td val[/IMG]I recently got a book on palmistry and mudras, etc. I'll go over it and let you know.
It's all related.
I know the anjali mudra is good for balancing the soul and igniting the circuits of the hand chakras, shoulder chakras and heart chakras area. It also balances the right and left hemispheres of the brain since the hands are connected with the brain and are its "servants".
The same principles in palmistry.
The anjali mudra is the prayer mudra..the enemy corrupted it. It also raises energy.
In the future, I'll do a little article on palmistry, mudras and the hands.

After a yoga session i do the mudras - from the JoS opening the soul page i start from the Base chakra and finish with the Crown chakra. What this does is it directs the ascending kundalini-generated during the yoga session-directly to the chakras.
Don't meditate on your chakras from base to crown unless they're fully open. You might simulate your kundalini and make it ascend unintentionally, which will be very painful if your upper chakras aren't fully open.
That's why we always work from crown to base, to minimize the risks.
