The desire for and to attract money must be engraved and imbedded upon the soul. Workings must be consistent, with full focus and attention. Apply yourself 100%. Signs that the working is effective is money coming to you, regardless of where or what it is from. The best times for doing a money working, or beginning a money mantra are Sundays during the hours of Jupiter, Thursdays during the hours of the Sun or Venus [the Sun is more potent] and Fridays during the hours of Jupiter. The Moon should be waxing and in any of the following signs: Taurus, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, or Aquarius.

Wednesday, Taurus was retrograde, so I have heard. The markets crashed too, so I have heard. I started a money working Wednesday after void, before the full moon, during the hour of Jupiter with a Taurus moon. I got some money the very next day aside from my paycheck and other methods of money gathering.... But I will continue the working.

But anyway....

Should Taurus/Libra and Venus be switched out for Gemini/Virgo and Mercury?
Should I have done the money meditation with a Gemini/Virgo moon sign instead?

Gemini and Virgo have little to do with money, not to mention that they are mutable signs. Projects started during a Gemini moon tend not too last long, to change. Taurus is a fixed earth sign and deals with material possessions, including money. As thus Venus. What do you mean Taurus was retrograde? I never heard heard about retrograde signs, nor they are on JoS. I don't think that's even possible, by the way.

If you meant Mercury was retrograde, then no. Mercury goes retrograde on November 17th at 00:33 (GMT). Venus is retrograde and will turn direct on November 16th, at home in Libra. The Moon and the Sun cannot be retrograde.

Just because you can do a working for something when planets/signs are not optimal, does not mean those non-optimal timings were more optimal than the real optimal ones.

Optimal timings are best for best results, but you can still do things during other times regardless. Power of soul plus personal transits give a boost. Plus sometimes random luck.

In Lydia's signature there is calendar and what you ask is already in that calendar. Pick the one for your timezone and that's all.

There is one for South Africa. Which country do you reside in, if I may intrude?
You can just convert the timezone of yours to see if there is a timezone of that for Europe calendars for example. There's a calendar from UST -8 to UST +10

For example. I live in one of the Baltic countries, but the current timezone is the same as the one in Egypt.

Not true. Look up your timezone. All African timezones are covered. The only timezones that are not covered are GMT-9/-10/-11 as well as +11/+12/+13/+14. These are at the edges in the Pacific Ocean. Nothing to do with Africa, which is from GMT-1 to GMT+3.
